Childcare Centre Aims

Mt Druitt Blinky Bills Preschool aims to:-

* Provide the children with a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulation environment that facilitates learning and development.

* Acheive friendly interactions between all staff, children & families, result in in a respectful relationship that fosters security, warmth & trust.  Through this each child will work towards developing positive self-esteem and self-concept.

* Provide children with a wide range of materials/equiptment/activities that will allow them to practice existing skills and experiment with new skills.  We believe every child should have access to each activity at all times to further develop their skills and learn.

* Provide a programme that caters for each childs individual skills and needs.  We acheive this through regular observations, and developmental records, and ongoing staff training i.e. inservices and using community support services such as SDN children's services. 

* Develop a partnership with parents/guardians that will result in an understanding of each childs unique background and assisting them in maximising their potential.

* To reflect in the centre's environment and its daily practices, the uniqueness of a child, the family background, culture and the wider community.
